Announcing the 2023 ABFAS Election Results

The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) is proud to announce the results of the 2023 Board of Directors election. 

 

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Timothy J. Mineo of Oregon and Dr. Vito Speciale of South Carolina to their first terms on the ABFAS Board of Directors. One incumbent, Dr. Katie M. Swanstrom of Washington, will continue her service on the Board. All three terms will become effective on September 1, 2023, and will end on August 31, 2026.

 

Thank you to all the Diplomates who took the time to vote. Twenty percent of 7,390 eligible Diplomates cast their vote in this year's election. 

 

Once again, congratulations to our newly-elected board members, Timothy J. Mineo, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS, and Vito Speciale, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS, and returning board member Katie M. Swanstrom, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS. We look forward to their service to ABFAS and the profession.
