to earn ABFAS Board Certification. ABFAS publishes this data each year in the annual newsletter and in
conjunction with the ABFAS Annual Meeting.

Part I Board Qualification Examinations
Important to note, the 2023 residency class was the first class impacted by COVID-19 during all three years of residency. This may factor into the pass rate differential between the 2022 and 2023 residency classes.
Part II Case Review
Important to note, it takes four years on average to accumulate enough cases to enroll in Case Review. As a result, N significantly increases over time.
