The Joint Task Force of Orthopaedic and Podiatric Surgeons has submitted its May 2021 white paper and resolution to the American Medical Association House of Delegates. The task force intends the documents to accomplish the goals of APMA Resolution 4-19 to address access to the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) for students and graduates of accredited colleges of podiatric medicine.
The APMA will host a virtual Leadership Town Hall Forum on August 11, 2021 from 5–7 p.m. Pacific Time to discuss the resolution and the supporting white paper. Interested attendees must register for the event.
ABFAS thanks partner organizations ACFAS and APMA for their roles as task force members, and for continued work on this front.
