Pursuing a career in medicine is a tremendous privilege. I was born in Egypt, where the educational system is underdeveloped and inaccessible to many, limiting opportunities. I grew up in a single-parent household, where my mother worked tirelessly to provide for my brother and me. Her unwavering dedication and selflessness have always inspired me. Witnessing her face challenges and succeed in a new country instilled in me the values of determination and helping those less fortunate. These values drive me as I pursue a career in podiatric surgery, aiming to provide the best care to my patients and make a positive impact on the healthcare community.
As an aspiring podiatric surgeon, I firmly believe that American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) Board Certification is not only important but essential to my journey to becoming the best surgeon I can be.
